SKMC (ONLY) EXIT INTERVIEW COUNSELING SESSION

March 4, 2015 5pm - 7pm Room 218/Curtis Building

Dear Senior Medical Students:

If you received Federal Stafford, Federal Grad PLUS, Federal Perkins, Jefferson Loans, LDS, PCL, and/or private loan funds while enrolled at Jefferson Medical College, then you are required to complete an educational loan Exit Interview prior to graduation. If you do not complete this requirement before March 24th, a graduation “HOLD” will be imposed by the Registrar’s Office. Neither the University Office of Student Financial Aid, nor the Student Loan Office may clear you for graduation until this requirement has been completed.

To complete the Exit Interview requirement, students must:

1) Complete the online Exit Interview at the federal web site www.nslds.ed.gov. The option to review a comprehensive summary of your federal aid & complete the online Exit requirement is prominently located on the NSLDS page. You will need your FAFSA PIN to enter the NSLDS page. If you have forgotten your PIN, go to www.pin.ed.gov for assistance.

2) Attend a small group in-person Exit Interview. It is highly suggested that you complete the online NSLDS process before attending the in-person session to help you to better understand the presented material.

Exit Interviews must be registered for at least 2 days prior to the scheduled date.
